Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee recently took to her Instagram to announce that she made a special cover of The Everly Brothers‘ ‘Love Hurts.’

Gibson recently announced that they teamed up with The Everly Brothers’ family to celebrate Phil and Don Everly’s musical legacy. Starting on June 14, the guitar brand will release the limited-edition Everly Brothers SJ-200 acoustic guitar and the Everly Brothers x Gibson capsule apparel collection.

On June 17, a new 17-track compilation album titled ‘Hey Doll Baby’ will be released via Warner Records. To promote the album and celebrate the iconic duo, Gibson also presents the virtual concert ‘Hey Doll Baby Festival: Celebrating The Lives & Music Of The Everly Brothers.’

In her recent Instagram post, Amy Lee of Evanescence revealed that she would also be a part of this organization with various other legendary artists. She then announced that she teamed up with Dave Stewart for a cover of ‘Love Hurts.’

Lee then stated that the ‘Hey Doll Baby Festival: Celebrating The Lives & Music Of The Everly Brothers’ will air on June 19 on the official Everly Brothers’ website, and SiriusXM’s Tom Petty Radio will also simulcast the live stream.
