Evanescence’s talented vocalist Amy Lee has shared a post of the band on her official Instagram account and saddened the fans with a coronavirus announcement.
Currently, most of the people and countries are suffering from coronavirus. Sports events, concerts, meetings are canceled and the outbreak is still going on all around the world. Additionally, Tom Hanks, Rudy Gobert, and Daniele Rugani were one of the first famous people who tested positive for COVID-19.
As you might already know, this outbreak also hit the rock/metal music community in a hard way and lots of bands like KISS, Jimmy Page, Avril Lavigne, and Pearl Jam decided to postpone their events.
This time, Evanescence is one of the bands that affected by this virus. They were going to play at the ‘Download Festival’ in Japan. However, the organizers decided to delay this event because of the coronavirus concern of the people.
Amy’s post reached around 10K likes less than sixteen hours and most of the fans shared their reactions and goodwill in the comment section of the post.

“We are disappointed to have to wait to play Download festival Japan, but when it does happen, we’re going to give it double the power! We’re still coming for you! Praying for everyone’s safety and wellness in the meantime.”
A fan named Rasmus Holmen added this comment:
“When are you canceling the European tour? So reckless that you haven’t already. I know you hate touring here so it should be an easy choice 🤷♂️”
Another fan named Jordana Oulette said:
“That’s the best decision in my opinion. Now to wait for the world’s collide announcement.”
