Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee spoke in a recent interview with Billboard and explained how she adapted to the tough times in the coronavirus outbreak and what she is doing to overcome these days.

After the coronavirus hit the world, one of the most affected businesses was the music industry. Every concert and show has canceled and the bands are still trying to figure out how they can make new songs during this period.

On the other hand, Amy found a way to look at this pandemic from the bright side. She stated in the conversation that she is embracing these challenges and tough times to use them as an inspiration for the upcoming projects.

Interviewer asked:

“How the ongoing pandemic has affected the group’s creative process?”

Here is what Amy Lee said:

“We actually went to great lengths to all get COVID-tested, to get buses to bring the guys together.

We all wore masks sometimes, and just locked down in a completely independent bubble, saw no one during the whole time we were together, and were able to get some recording going on the next stuff! We’re moving forward, and…

I am embracing the challenges and the limitations that we have this year, and using them for inspiration.”
