The former Dream Theater star and the current drummer of Flying Colors, Mike Portnoy, has posted the poster of the Netflix recent release ‘Death To 2020’ and shared his thoughts about the documentary about the unusual events the world experienced during 2020.
‘Death To 2020’ is a dark comedy and a ‘mockumentary’ which was co-created by Black Mirror’s creators Charlie Booker and Annabel Jones. The documentary was released two days ago and it is currently being liked by %85 of Google users and rated %61 by Rotten Tomatoes.
While sharing how much he loved Netflix’s ‘Death To 2020,’ Mike Portnoy did not forget to mention the creator of many movies and series like ‘Black Mirror,’ ‘Nathan Barley,’ and ‘Rush Hour,’ Charlie Brooker. Mike also claimed that 2020 gave Brooker at least ten seasons of material for Black Mirror.
Just less than 48 hours left in the year 2020, over 3K people pushed the like button to say goodbye to 2020 and one of the users who liked the post was Mike Portnoy’s beloved daughter Melody Portnoy.
Here is what Mike Portnoy said in the caption of his post:
“Absolutely loved Netflix’s Death To 2020. A Mockumentary on the worst year evah!!! Sadly, this sh*t year prevented Charlie Brooker from making any new episodes of Black Mirror for us…
But I suppose this hilarious mockumentary in the vein of Take The Money And Run or a Christopher Guest film, gave him enough material for 10 seasons of Black Mirror!”
