The former bass guitarist of Metallica, Ron McGovney, shared a link to the Ozzy Osbourne album he was selling on eBay, yet, the price he asked for was quite less than expected.

Ron McGovney has been known as the original bass guitarist of the thrash metal band Metallica. Ron played with the band between the years of 1981 and 1982.

McGovney’s time in Metallica was known as complicated due to his continuous clash with the band’s drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist Dave Mustaine. Ron left the band a year later and replaced by Cliff Burton.

Recently on Twitter, Ron McGovney shared the link of Ozzy Osbourne’s 1980 album, ‘Blizzard of Ozz,’ he was selling on eBay. Apparently, Ron bought this album at Middle Earth Records in Downey while he was in high school in 1980 and he kept it at his house where Metallica started in his garage.

Moreover, McGovney mentioned that he was selling Ozzy’s debut solo album also with a color poster. However, the price he asked for Osbourne’s iconic considered quite cheap by his followers, which was only $76.

Here’s what Ron McGovney stated in his latest tweet:

“Check out Ozzy Osbourne: Blizzard of Ozz album 1980 with color poster included! #HardRock.”
