Metallica Girl, which is the most popular fan pages of the band, has posted a rare photo of frontman James Hetfield on Twitter. Original Metallica bassist Ron McGovney has revealed a little-known detail about this frame.
In the photo, James Hetfield is posing for the camera with his long yellow hair and heartwarming smile. I think the photo was taken just before the recording sessions of No Life ‘Til Leather demo.
Original bass player of Metallica, Ron McGovney has shared his message in the comment section and said:
“I took that photo also.”

Back on March 15, Ron also shared an interesting story about Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson and revealed his reaction when he was trying to take his photo.
Here’s what he told on Twitter:
“I snapped a picture of Bruce Dickenson of Iron Maiden at a hotel pool in the early 80s. He wasn’t happy. He told me that I wasn’t his official photographer. Had a run in with “official photographer” in Cleveland at RRHOF party in 2009. What a little jerk.”
