Slayer and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt explained why he feels lucky about the coronavirus pandemic by sharing a new photo from his concert on his official Instagram account and revealed his feelings.
In December 2019, Slayer said goodbye to the audience at the end of their ‘The Final World Tour,‘ and Gary continued to appear in the shows of Exodus. However, Exodus’ Europe tour interrupted due to the coronavirus.
At the start of 2020, coronavirus hit the world and spread almost all of the countries. Because of that, most of the bands decided to postpone their events and shows to make sure that everybody is going to be safe.
Gary mentioned the start of the epidemic and stated that he feels lucky to run around in Europe and play in the shows and said that he is so lucky because he lost only two shows after the start of the outbreak.
While talking about those times, he revealed his longing for the shows and stated that it feels like he played last time in the show years ago. Here is what Gary Holt said:
“Yeah, I feel pretty lucky I was able to run around Europe before COVID, and lucky to have only lost two shows during the tour. Seems like years ago. Photo by Carl Prenter.”
