Slayer and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt revealed the near-death experience he faced in his house and shared the story on his official Instagram account.

According to Gary, a huge oak tree fell into his house after a jet motor sound. The deck and rain gutters are damaged because of it, and his car got lots of scratches due to the pieces that flew around the area.

Gary wanted to share a picture of this accident and as you can see in the picture below, the fences of the balcony have broken and there have been lots of tree branches on his house.

Thankfully, nobody got injured or died because of this accident. Additionally, Gary mentioned that it would be ironic to die because of a tree falling, which makes people breathe and live at the same time.

Here is what Gary Holt wrote:

“Hello, Mountian living! Sitting in my living room about to watch the Warriors game , and the sound of a jet engine screamed, and then bam! A hugeoak tree falls into the house!

Only the deck, the rain gutters and are damaged and my car has a lot of scratches, as it was buried, but no one was hurt and thank Goodness for insurance! What a night!

Thanks to the tree folks from Foothill Sierra Tree for coming out after hours and clearing the driveway, since we were trapped before! This tree was massive! Live by the tree, die by the tree!”
