Slayer and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt mourned the death of Debbie Abono by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account.
Debbie Abono was a manager for the metal bands such as Exodus, Sepultura, Forbidden, and many more. Unfortunately, she passed away after having a long battle against cancer in May 2010 at the age of 80.
Yesterday marked the passing of Debbie, and Gary wanted to pay his tribute to their manager by sharing an old picture where Debbie posed alongside the band and James Hetfield.
Furthermore, Gary prayed for Debbie’s soul and remembered her legacy in this way. Afterward, Gary revealed how flexible and funny Exodus was back in the days with this picture.
Here is what Gary Holt wrote:
“RIP Debbie Abono, so missed by so many. Seen here with Exodus boys, Mr Hetfield and Jeff Hanneman, Maria Ferrero, and Gene showing us how flexible he is at an Exodus show in SoCal.”
