A Change.org campaign has been launched for KISS reunion with legendary guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss.

The title of the campaign is “Bring back Peter Criss and Ace Frehley as full members of Kiss for their final tour”. Here’s the statement:

“Kiss will soon begin their final tour and as a fan, I think it would be unacceptable for Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley to not bring back Peter Criss and Ace Frehley as full members for the band’s last hurrah.

I mean no disrespect to Tommy Thayer. I think he’s a fine guitarist. But, he’ll never be Ace Frehley and if this is truly their final tour they need to make it special and it won’t be special without the original Spaceman. Not to mention that fact that he’s repeatedly said he’ll do it.

Now, Peter Criss might not have it in him to perform a full show (let alone perform whole shows throughout what Gene and Paul say will be multi-year tour), which means Eric Singer will probably still be needed. But, the original Catman might still be able to sing lead vocals on songs he sang in the past and maybe do some drumming (provided he’s able and willing).

The tour begins on January 31, 2019, which means there’s still time. I hope I can count on your support.”
