Red Hot Chili Peppers bass guitarist Flea took his official Instagram account to share a new post and explained why he feels sad during Mother’s Day.
You can see that Flea shared a really old picture where his late mother was holding himself and his sister on her lap, and he wanted to celebrate this special day by revealing his feelings.
As Flea said that he misses her mother every day, he also mentioned that it took him long time to realize the depth of her absence. In this way, Flea mourned the death of his mother.
Furthermore, Flea pointed out that there are so many things happening in his life and he wishes he could share with his mother. Afterward, Flea showed how much he loves her and celebrated Mother’s Day.

“My mama Patricia with my sister Karyn and I. I miss her in a heavy way, it takes a long time to realize the depth of an emptiness sometimes.
There is so much about my life today I wish I could share with her. I love you mom, happy Mother’s Day.”
