The legendary English rockstar and also football (soccer) fan, Sir Elton John, posted a bunch of new photos on his official Instagram account today to share that how he presented the ‘Player of the Year Award’ to a Watford FC player Ismaila Sarr.
As much as being one of the most talented stars of the century, Elton John is a die-hard Watford FC fan. Moreover, Elton became the chairman and the owner of the English club when they managed to rose from the fourth division to the first division in the ’70s and early ’80s.
Today, Elton stated that he presented to POTM award to Ismaila Sarr and also announced that Kiko Femenia and Francisco Sierralta were the runners-up. Right after sharing the photos, over 90K followers of John pushed the like button to show their support for both Watford FC and Elton himself. One of the users who liked the post was Judas Priest frontman who is known as ‘The Metal God,’ Rob Halford.
Here is what Sir Elton wrote in the caption:
“Big day out for the F-J Family as we attended today’s game at Watford FC.
It was an honor to hand out the ‘Player of the Year Award’ to the great Ismaila Sarr. Runners up were Kiko Femenia and Francisco Sierralta.
