In a recent official announcement, Metallica has canceled some dates of their 2019 and 2020 tours because of James Hetfield’s alcohol problem, and they officially confirmed that James went to rehab again.
Metallica and other members didn’t any statement about the current health status of James Hetfield after the official announcement of the band. And that attitude makes fans much more interested in what James Hetfield is doing these days.
Former Metallica bassist Ron McGovney has responded to a question that he got from a fan on Twitter and revealed what he knows on James Hetfield’s current health status. He broke his silence but still there’s no clear information.
A fan named Roger asked:
“I just wanted to ask you if you know anything about James Hetfield’s health?”
“Sorry. I do not.”
