One of Freddie Mercury’s fan pages, ‘Freddie Mercury Club,’ has shared a really rare interview video of Freddie Mercury with his close friend, Dave Clark, on Instagram.

In the recent Instagram post, the page has revealed an unforgettable interview video of Freddie Mercury with Dave Clark.

The interview was held in 1986 in which they were talking about the music career and success of them in this interview. If you wish, you can find the full interview here.

The page has not any details about this interview, it just wrote the words of Dave Clark:

“Freddie the Perfectionist Professional.

Dave, what was it like to work with such an extrovert character like Freddie Mercury?

Dave Clark: Well actually to be perfectly honest I thought it would be impossible because he’s such a perfectionist and such an extrovert performer.
But I found him the absolute professional to the extreme where everything had to be perfect. But he would give 100 percent of himself… and he doesn’t like starting work until 6-7 in the evening and working till 6 but that 12 hour period he gave a performance, every take was a performance giving 110 percent.
And I mean I’ve worked with Stevie Wonder and by the album with everybody…and I think Freddie’s the ONLY performer I’ve actually worked with where EVERY take is like a performance in front of an audience of thousands.

Freddie: I told you this is no cheap Queen you’re working with.

Dave: No I really mean that. It’s very rare because most performers go in and after two or three takes they lay back or they hold back but he goes his all until he drops.

Freddie: I thought everybody did that…

Dave: No they don’t actually…

P.S. This interview has to be studied by everyone who thinks Freddie was that irresponsible high unprofessional jerk in that so-called “biopic”. Thank God Freddie’s TRUE friends have already spoken the truth for the “unbelievers” and “cheap Queens.”

So once again let the words sink in: “I found him the absolute PROFESSIONAL” and “he gives his all until he drops.”

You can see the Instagram post of it right below.
