One of the dearest friends and the personal assistance of the iconic musician Freddie Mercury, Peter Freestone has talked about the lifestyle of Mercury and his way of relaxing after the intense shows.
Within a rare interview, Freestone has explained some of the lesser-known facts about Freddie Mercury. Peter Freestone, who remained with Freddie until his death in 1991, traveling with him around the world, revealed some details about his fast and grandiose life.
Famous with his parties at home and amazing stage performances, Freddie Mercury was wondered about the issue which is, how he managed and led his never-ending energy throughout his whole life. Closer than everyone else to him, Freestone was asked how Freddie was relaxing after the concerts.
Peter Freestone said that Freddie Mercury, as an artist who ended the performance with the adrenalin is running through the body, could not sit quietly. He preferred to come down by going out on the town with a group of friends until the early hours.
Here is what Peter Freestone said about Mercury’s way of relaxing:
“Like just about any artist who performs on stage, at the end the adrenalin is running through the body, so it is almost impossible to sit quietly.
For Freddie, his way of coming down after a show was to go out on the town with a group of friends until the early hours. This gave the chance for the adrenalin to dissipate.”
