One of the biggest Freddie Mercury fan pages on whole social media, @freddiemercuryclub, posted a recent photo on their Instagram page and shared yet another unknown details about late Queen star.
As Freddie Mercury Club posted the rare colored version of Freddie’s iconic photo, they also shared the statements of Peter Freestone, who was the personal assistant and close friend of Freddie Mercury.
Here is what Peter Freestone responded to what was Freddie really like:
“I don’t know the number of times I have been asked that question. From my perspective I can say he was a very fair boss, he expected a person to give to their best ability and he required you to think through your actions before you rushed into something and create a mess, or cause un-needed problems…”
He continued:
“I knew what was expected of me and I did what he wanted. Freddie probably knew other people’s capabilities more than they did.
In the end, to sum it up, I have said this before and I will stick by it, Freddie Mercury was the kindest, most generous, loyal friend, I could ever wish to have. If you were lucky enough to be his friend, he would do everything possible to take care of you.”
An Instagram user named old_fashioned_girl made the most-liked comment on the post:
“This is a perfect description of Freddie.
Only a few were that lucky to have known him on that level ❤️”
