The Mirror published a recent article and unearthed the rare secret interview of Mary Austin from 2013. During the interview with Daily Mail, Mary revealed Freddie’s last warning to her before in just days before his death.

According to the statements of Mary Austin, Freddie was really concerned about the huge mansion he gifted to Mary, and he was thinking that the community will slam her with accusing of being a gold-digger.

Here is what Mary ‘The Love of Freddie’s Life’ Austin told to Daily Mail:

“I struggled to cope after Freddie’s death. I found myself thinking, oh Freddie, you’ve left me too much and too much to deal with as well. I felt I couldn’t live up to it.

He’d warned me that the house was going to be more of a challenge than I realized. I’m grateful he did because I hit jealousy head-on — like a Japanese bullet train. Very painful.”

She also claimed that Freddie’s bandmates, Brian May and Roger Taylor, was not happy with Freddie’s decision to leave her so much property.

Here is what she said:

“I don’t understand it. Because to me, it’s bricks and mortar. I try never to be jealous or envy people. Freddie was very generous to them in the last years of his life and I don’t think they embraced that generosity.

I don’t think they appreciated or recognized what Freddie had left them.”
