The Mirror posted a recent article about Freddie Mercury’s struggle with his AIDS in 1991 and revealed never-told-before details about the late Queen icon.
As you might already know, Freddie shared his real health status 24 hours before he passed away but he was fighting with the disease since the late 80s.
During the recent interview with The Mirror, Freddie’s one of best friends ever, Peter Freestone revealed what Freddie tried to do to control his deadly disease.
Here is what he said:
“He was in control, although the disease was killing him. He knew that if he did announce it his life would come a circus and he would be prevented from going about his business, which was making music.
He wanted it to be business as usual until the end.”
Freddie’s love of life, Mary Austin also shared untold details:
“He didn’t want anyone trying to dig him up as has happened with some famous people. Fans can be deeply obsessive – he wanted it to remain a secret and it will remain so.”
