One of the most famous guitarists of the world and active social media influencer, Gary Holt, took to his official Instagram account once again and penned an encouraging letter to the newcomers.

As you might already know, Holt is rocking on stages for almost 40 years, and today, he promoted Thin Lizzy‘s latest album on his official Instagram page by calling the album masterpiece.

Gary also did not forget to mourn Irish rock star Phil Lynott, who passed away back in 1986, and this rare post got over 5K likes in just 10 hours.

Here is the caption:

“Day 15! Another one that should have been top five, but this shit is hard! Thin Lizzy’s breakout record ‘Jailbreak,’ a masterpiece if ever there was one. While ‘Fighting’ was the first record of theirs I discovered and loved, and ‘Live and dangerous’ is the one I always listened to (since it had almost every great song in one record) this is the one I chose.

The ultimate twin guitar harmony attack and their influence on Exodus are monumental. On every twin lead guitar band, I’d say. So many great things about this record, Phil’s lyrics, the foremost rock poet there ever was, the songs like Warrior, the title track, the hit songs, the deep cuts, and of course Emerald, my favorite song they ever wrote.

One of the greatest bands of all time and if the Rock Hall has any brains and actually cared about hard rock this band would be enshrined yesterday. Legends. RIP Phil Lynott.”
