Slayer and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt remembered the late Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman in his death anniversary by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account.
As you might already know, Jeff contracted a flesh-eating disease after he was bitten by a spider, and he passed away in 2013 due to liver failure. Afterward, Gary joined the band as a full-time member.
On his death anniversary, Gary wanted to mourn Jeff’s death by sharing an old picture of themselves and wanted to express how he is feeling about the passing of the legendary guitarist.
While Gary was saying that they are missing Jeff all the time, he also mentioned that Jeff was the best person to hang out with. Furthermore, Gary praised his talent by saying that he was a riff master.
Here is what Gary Holt captioned:
“Jeff, you’re always missed brother. Always the king, always the best brother to hang out with, riff master supreme, cheers brother.”
