The iconic KISS star Gene Simmons‘ daughter Sophie Simmons shared a tweet on her official Twitter account and showed her reaction against a recent tragedy: ‘How do we stop this?’
As you might remember, Sophie Simmons has been following her dad’s path and working actively in the music industry. She also uses social media platforms often to express herself and reach out to her fans.
Recently, Sophie shared a tweet about the tragic death of George Floyd, a 46-year-old African American man who died right after being arrested by a Minneapolis police officer. Sophie reacted against racism and police brutality on her Twitter account:
“The killing of George Floyd was just another example of racism and police violence in America. how do we stop this? tweets are not enough.“
A fan named Dal commented:
“I just saw the video for the first time. Beyond shocking. That man didn’t need to have his neck pressed like that. Why didn’t they put him in the squad car? That officer should be charged with first degree murder!”
