The iconic bassist and co-lead vocalist of KISS, Gene Simmons has reacted to the recent news of TMZ, in which it was stated that two drunk drivers used Tesla Autopilot as flying down the highway with no one in the driver’s seat.

Gene Simmons has been quite active on Twitter reposting the news he wants to support or criticize. Lately, Simmons has displayed his support to the engineer and business magnate, Elon Musk, by praising his successful projects and thoughts.

As you may remember, he has backed up Musk on his dispute with former secretary of labor, Robert Reich, whom Elon called a modern-day moron. Simmons said that Musk is the winner of this round through his witty answer.

Recently, Gene has spoken about another Elon Musk-related news. He has shared the latest update of TMZ, which they targetted the two idiot drivers who were drunk and flying down the highway while utilizing Tesla Autopilot with nobody in the driver’s seat.

It was explained in the news that, though Tesla CEO Elon Musk wants his self-driving cars to be fully autonomous, the Autopilot feature still requires drivers. It was added that at least 4 people have died in Tesla Autopilot-related crashes till now.

Based on the dangers of the Autopilot feature, for now, Simmons has agreed with the title of the news, in which the drivers were defined as idiots. He has said that he is speechless reading all these. He also asked his followers what they think about it.
