KISS’ co-lead singer and bassist Gene Simmons recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account and boasted of his daughter and fellow musician Sophie’s great success, who got nominated for a Juno Award and is now on numerous billboards all over Vancouver.
As you may recall, back in the summer of 2020 the successful singer, poet, and model Sophie Tweed-Simmons released the hit song ‘Mine’ with Felix Cartal. The song achieved great success and was streamed by millions of people. In fact, in February 2021, Sophie was awarded a Platinum Record by the Recording Industry Association of America after ‘Mine’ surpassed one million listeners.
Gene Simmons, who has been one of Sophie’s biggest fans since day one, had expressed the happiness and proudness that he felt through his social media accounts. With his recent tweet, he once again expressed his happiness upon seeing his daughter’s face on billboards all over Vancouver and insinuated that he can’t wait to see whether Sophie will get her first Juno Award.
Here’s what Gene Simmons said in his tweet:
“Sophie nominated for a Juno Award, with Billboards all over Vancouver BC. Wow! So proud!”
