KISS’ bassist Gene Simmons shared a post on his official Twitter page reacting to a fan’s statement addressing to his tweet about a political issue, apparently, Simmons is not happy with the intervening of his fan.

As you may know, Gene Simmons frequently uses his official Twitter page for political issues and he is vocal about his opinions of social matters other than music. In addition to this, Simmons also does not hold himself back when it comes to answering his fans whether it’s a positive or negative statement.

Recently, Gene Simmons, once again, shared a tweet about the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin after he recognizes the 46th president of the United States, Joe Biden. A fan, apparently, was bothered by Simmons’ expressing and sharing his opinions about the current political issues and stated that he should only play music and stay out of other matters.

Here is what the fan said regarding Simmons’ tweets about politics:

Just play music

Right after this statement, Gene Simmons shared another post on Twitter and defended himself by stating that he has every right to express his opinions in addition to the freedom of acting as he pleases since it’s his life and it’s his Twitter page. Simmons also stated that if they don’t like it, they are free to leave as he kindly clapped back to that fan.

Here is how Simmons responded to the fan’s criticism:

I will do whatever I want to do. It’s my life. And this is my Twitter account. If you like it, you are welcome. If you don’t like it, you are welcome to leave. Have a good day.”
