On Twitter, KISS‘s legendary bass guitarist Gene Simmons responded to a tweet suggesting the government should implement the Covid-19 measures equally to everyone and stated it seemed almost impossible.
KISS icon Gene Simmons has been using his social media accounts to show his reaction to certain political and social issues in the United States. Particularly during the lockdown days due to the coronavirus pandemic, Gene often criticized the actions of the government to prevent the further spread of the disease.
Recently on Twitter, the CEO of Gemini, Tyler Winklevoss, shared a tweet to criticize the hypocrisy of the American politicians. In his tweet, Tyler stated that the politicians should have ‘real skin in the game‘ and should follow the same measures as the citizens, such as staying at home even if it means they would lose their salary.
Here’s what Tyler Winklevoss asserted in his tweet:
“We need a system where politicians have real skin in the game. You start a war, one of your kids or the next closet blood relative has to serve on the front line.
You promulgate a lockdown, then you lose your salary and must stay at home under 24hr surveillance. End the hypocrisy.”
As a response to the tweet criticizing the hypocrisy of government officials, Gene Simmons shared a comment showing his support for the criticism. However, Simmons also mentioned that even if the idea was true, the possibility of its application was almost impossible.
Here’s what Gene Simmons stated in his recent tweet:
“Good thoughts. Something to think about, even though the chances of implementation are slim to none, in my view.“
