Yesterday, The Grammys left Vinnie Paul out of their ‘In Memoriam’ segment at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.

Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum has reacted to Grammys because of their disrespectful conduct to Vinnie Paul. On Twitter, Matt wrote:

“Vinnie Paul Being left out was another travesty and the reality of the Grammys. Fans of most of those artists are looking for the latest thing. Vinnie has loyal fans in the millions that will live on well beyond that event.

The battle with the Grammys on Lemmy Kilmister’s behalf was a joke. They gave Hollywood Vampires 4 minutes n 10 seconds to pay tribute to a man that was The Godfather Of Rock n Roll. There was a committee pushing for months to make that happen.

Rock n Roll and Heavy Metal fans are the most dedicated loyal fans in the world and deserve to be treated with more respect . Did you notice there’s no Best Rock Album televised anymore? Neil Portnow do we have to Step Up??”

The Fozzy’s Chris Jericho said:

“Well the #Grammys may have neglected to mention the passing of FOUR TIME #GRAMMY nominee #VinniePaul, but I won’t. Try to do your homework next year kids, will ya? @recordingacademy @vinniepaul3”
