The official and verified Instagram account of the iconic American rock band Green Day posted a new photo recently and announced that they had to postpone their upcoming tour named ‘Hella Mega Tour With Fall Out Boy’ to 2022.
As you might already follow their career, Green Day released their latest studio album named ‘Father of All Motherfuckers’ last year and it was their thirteenth studio album. While the album features 10 never-released-before tracks including an additional live song from the Whisky named ‘Bang Bang,’ Green Day could not properly promote their album due to coronavirus measures.
Today, Green Day announced that the Europe and United Kingdom legs of their Hella Mega Tour are postponed to 2022. According to the official announcement, fans can refund their tickets via the official ticketholder and check out the new dates of the concerts by clicking here.
Here is what’s written in the caption:
“Europe + UK – this past year has been chaotic to say the very least, and while we hoped we’d be able to make the Hella Mega Tour a reality for you this summer, COVID had other plans. With that being said, your shows will now be happening in 2022. Your tickets are good for the new dates, so make sure to hold onto them!
And for all of you in the US, we’re still planning on coming to see you this summer!”
