Green Day recently announced the fate of the Hella Mega Tour by sharing a new post on their official Instagram account.
As you might already know, the coronavirus outbreak still continues in the whole world, but some of the events are partly being allowed in the countries due to the vaccination such as United States, New Zealand, and more.
Following the new restrictions rules, Green Day stated that the Hella Mega Tour is going to be held this summer, but they tweaked some of the dates to make the tour possible this year.
According to the statement, the scheduled dates in summer at Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco will be postponed through the end of this year, and Colombus and Milwaukee are added to the tour dates.
Here is the official announcement from Green Day:
“US, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The 2021 Hella Mega Tour is going down this summer, with a few date changes along the way…
For those of you in Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego (San Diego is 8/29 not 8/30) and San Francisco – your shows will now be moving to the end of summer.
Your current tickets will be valid for the new dates. If you can’t make it, ticket holders (for these four shows) will be emailed directly with refund options.
Columbus and Milwaukee, you’re in luck – we’ve added shows in your cities ⚡🤘 Both shows will go on sale Friday, 5/21.”
