Iconic star of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong revealed a new photo on his official and certified Instagram account and showed his unseen photo with his old-time friend Brontez Purnell of The Younger Lovers.
Here is what Billie wrote on the caption area:
“With the younger lovers!
An Instagram user named __masshysteria made the most-liked comment on the photo.
Here it is:
“Hey Billie! Me and my sister have been huge fans of Green Day for almost a decade now and we sometimes got to discuss and mull over the meanings of your songs together. One thing we’ve always had different opinions on is the “I don’t care if you don’t care” part in Jesus Of Suburbia. My sister claims it means “If you don’t care, then I don’t care either”, but to me it’s like “I don’t care about the fact that you don’t care”.
What we have always wanted to know, though, is if both can be legit? Like we don’t know if it’s just us, non-native english speakers, who may interpret this two different ways or if also natives happen to do that. I don’t want to know which one is ‘right’, music is not about that, just wanted to tell you about this fun thing. I hope to see you guys soon live in concert and can’t wait for your new music! Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹 ♡”
