Guns N’ Roses‘ legendary bassist Duff McKagan posted a picture on Instagram to celebrate ‘Juneteenth‘ revealing his two favorite human beings: ‘Frederick Douglass and Prince.’

The talented bass guitarist of Guns N’ Roses Duff McKagan hasn’t been an active user of social media platforms. However, he’s been sharing statements about certain issues from time to time.

On a recent Instagram post, Duff shared a photo to honor ‘Juneteenth,’ which was a holiday to celebrate the emancipation of those who were enslaved in America. On the picture, there was a hat the name ‘Prince‘ written on it along with a t-shirt showing the face of American abolitionist ‘Frederick Douglass‘. Duff mentioned these two men as the two of his ‘all-time favorite humans.’

As you might remember, the famous musician Prince sadly passed away on April 21, 2016, caused by an accidental overdose. His fans and friends were devastated by the news of the music icon’s death at a young age.

The other important name for Duff McKagan, the social reformer and writer Frederick Douglass became a national leader of the abolitionist movement. His book, ‘My Bondage, My Freedom,’ was influential in promoting the cause of antislavery movements.

On the caption of his Instagram post, Duff wrote about the importance of these two men in his life:

In celebration of Juneteenth..two of my all-time favorite humans-Frederick Douglass and Prince.
