The lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses and one of the most popular musicians on social media, Slash, has completed his fourteenth year as a sober man right now, and his girlfriend Meegan Hodges is there to show her support to him via an Instagram post.
Like countless musicians who have coped with several addictions throughout their lives in the music industry, Slash has been battling against the alcohol and heroin problems for some time. In most of his interviews, he has kept admitting the sink his addictions created within his life.
In her latest post on Instagram, Slash’s girlfriend Meegan Hodges revealed that now he has spent a long time being clean. She posted a picture of Slash she has taken and shared her happiness over his sobriety. In the caption she said:
“Happy 14 Year Sobriety Baby! You are such an inspiration to me and to lots of people out there. Proud of the man you are. I love you, baby.”
