Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash recently revealed the current health status of AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson after his hearing problems in addition to his opinion about Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose performing with AC/DC back in 2016 during an interview with Heavy Consequence.

As you may recall, frontman Brian Johnson had to stop touring due to hearing problems back in 2016 during AC/DC’s ‘Rock or Bust Worl Tour’ since he would have a risk of total hearing loss should he continued.

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose was recruited by his own offer to complete the tour and performed with AC/DC for ten shows saving the ‘Rock or Bust World Tour’ both for AC/DC fans and the band members.

During a recent interview, Slash shared an update on Brian Johnson’s current health and stated that he is back in AC/DC thanks to a hearing device which is thrilling news for fans and for Slash apparently.

Here is what he said:

“So, the first bit of great news, I talked to Brian and he was telling me about this hearing device that he got, and that he’s back in AC/DC. And that was just fucking awesome news.”

Furthermore, Slash opened up about how he felt when Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose performed with AC/DC to complete their world tour in a previous interview. Slash revealed that he actually has been in one of their shows and he thought it was epic. In addition to praising AC/DC, the iconic guitarist also complimated Axl Rose for continuing touring right back with Guns N’ Roses after AC/DC tour.

Here is what Slash stated:

“I went to one of those shows, and it was phenomenal. One of the first things he said was – he had a way of doing it where it wasn’t taxing on his voice. I was in awe of the whole thing.

He definitely had a way of doing it that it wasn’t killing him every night. It’s hard to come back from that if you’re not doing it right, and as soon as he came back from the AC/DC tour, he went straight into Guns N’ Roses and it was seamless.
