On Twitter, Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose wrote about the U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams’ reaction to the question of whether people should gather in large groups over the 4th of July weekend: ‘You don’t deserve the job or title.‘
Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose has been openly showing his discomfort with the current president Donald Trump on social media. Axl often criticizes Trump and his associates’ political actions with a harsh language.
A few days ago, the United States surgeon general Jerome Adams joined NBC’s The Today Show and answered questions about the Fourth of July weekend. He was asked whether it was safe for people to attend large gatherings considering the risks of coronavirus spread.
However, Adams hesitated to give a yes or no answer and simply said:
“It’s not a yes or no. Every single person has to make up their own mind. CDC says larger gatherings are a higher risk. You have to take that into account again with whether or not you’re at risk. And then you have to take measures to stay safe.
The most important thing I would say to people is if you do go out to a gathering or in public, please wear a face covering.”
The statements of Jerome Adams made Axl Rose furious and he wrote a response on his Twitter account:
“Jerome Adams is…
A: A coward.
B: A POS.
C: Both Resign.
You don’t deserve the job or title. America deserves better.“
