Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash has shared a new post on his official Instagram account and penned a heartwrenching letter after the death of famous caricaturist Mort Drucker, who was the contributor for Mad Magazine around five decades.

Slash reposted this picture and letter from Mad Magazine and revealed that he is sharing the same feeling they do. In the caption of the post, Slash paid his tribute to another legend and prayed for his legacy.

As of writing this, Slash’s post reached around 18K likes, and most of his followers shared their goodwill in the comment section.

Here is what Slash wrote:

“RIP, Mort Drucker, whose caricatures revealed as much as they ridiculed. In your memory, we will continue to satirize even in dark times, and laugh like Idiots while doing it.”

A fan named Tony Frenden said:

“He was the best….. Probably the best in human history, quite literally.”

Another fan named Stern added this comment:

“Amazing talent. Made me laugh just from looking deeply into his fun-filled panels. A joy to have been a kid in his heyday! RIP!”
