Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan’s daughter, Mae McKagan, has uploaded a new photo on Instagram Stories and shared her feelings after the unexpected death of the punk rock fashion icon, Jimmy Webb.
Rock punk fashion icon and famous boutique owner in New York, Jimmy Webb, died after a long-time battle with cancer at the age of 62. After his death, the rock and metal community jumped to social media to show their respect for the fashion icon.
Mae penned a heart-melting message after his sad death. In the message, Mae said that Jimmy was a great influencer for her and learned a lot of things about fashion from him. She also finished her words by saying that she loved him very much.
Here’s what Mae McKagan penned:
“RIP Jimmy, now my forever rock a roll guardian angel. Anyone who knew him loved him, he had the most infectious and supportive spirit. He would constantly remind me and anyone he embraced how much he loved and believed in them.
I’m gonna miss the countless hours talking to him about our love for Vivienne Westwood, Johnny Rotten, velvet goldmine, etc. We always saw eye to eye and had the same vision.
He gave me my first big break in design and I will keep doing what I love for him!”
