Halestorm frontman Lzzy Hale talked in a conversation with LJ from Bayrock radio from New Zealand, revealed her interesting routine.

Here’s what she said:

“It’s pretty much 90 percent of our time [on tour]. We had a little bit of time off in between our last tour, which ended the day before Christmas Eve. Then, [before] heading out here, which was about two months off. I have to tell you, that was the longest period of time off we’ve had in between a tour since in probably over a decade.

It was kind of crazy — your homelife doesn’t necessarily exist. You have a home, but you don’t have a routine at home. You have a routine out on tour. I always say, ‘Touring life is normal life and then we’re at home, it’s vacation.'”

She continued:

“It was interesting because my routine… I ended up doing this thing since I have a hard time doing nothing, so I would get up in the morning with my cup of coffee and sit down at my piano.

I have a small workstation — I have a studio downstairs and a workstation upstairs. I’d start on something then when I’d get stuck, I’d be, like, ‘I’ll do laundry and I’ll cook food, like normal things.’ I really enjoyed doing things like cleaning.”
