The co-founder and frontwoman of the Pennsylvania-based band Halestorm, Lzzy Hale, has explained why she made her signature model explorer with the famous brand in musical instrument manufacturing, Epiphone.

As the official Twitter account of Epiphone has shared an appreciation post of Lzzy Hale, referring to their collaboration product, the new member of the Signature Artist family, a fan of her asked what does she think about the overall build quality of Epiphone guitars.

Responding to the question, Lzzy said they are high quality and amazingly priced instruments. She added that’s why she has decided to work with them for a new model in their phenomenal collection.

Lzzy Hale Signature Explorer was released last year as a limited edition model by Epiphone. The guitar has an alpine white gloss finish and powered by Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers, Grover Rotomatic machine heads, an ebony fingerboard, and gold hardware.

The musical instrument manufacturing brand, Epiphone, was founded in 1873 by Anastasios Stathopoulos. In 1957, Epiphone, Inc. was purchased by Gibson and relocated from New York to Kalamazoo, Michigan. Aside from guitars, Epiphone also made double basses, banjos, and other string instruments.

Here is what a fan of Lzzy Hale asked her about Epiphone guitars:

“I have a genuine question regarding Epiphone guitars. I am not sure the stigma is warranted. I have been eyeballing an LP custom by them. What do you think of their overall build quality?”

Lzzy responded as:

“They are great instruments. High quality and amazingly priced. Which is why I did a signature model explorer with them!”
