Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale posted a photo on her Instagram account and revealed that she will be one of the guest stars at an amazing event that will be broadcasted live and asked her devoted fans to join this special event honoring David Bowie.

As you know, David Bowie’s passing in 2016 scarred the whole rock world, and his family, friends, and devoted fans could not believe that he left us before his time. However, for years, there has been a David Bowie celebration in honor of his birthday, January 8. David Bowie was not just a huge rockstar, but a famous musician who was sensitive towards important matters such as AIDS & HIV, At-Risk/Disadvantaged Youths, Children, Human Rights, Poverty, and many more.

He was known for his support of the charity ‘Save the Children’ and ‘Keep A Child Alive.’ This year’s David Bowie celebration will be streamed live as live performances have been suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, the guest stars are definitely going to put on a show, to say the least. Part of the ticket purchase will be donated to ‘Save The Children, a charity important to Bowie‘ as Lzzy Hale said.

In this live event, artists such as Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, William Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, Bowie’s close friend and Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman, Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction, Joe Elliott of Def Leppard, Macy Gray, Lzzy Hale will be performing in honor of David Bowie. In her recent Instagram post, Lzzy shared her excitement about this event and advised her fans not to miss it.

Here’s what Lzzy Hale said in the caption of her recent Instagram post:

“January 8th at 6 PM PT! Join me for A Bowie Celebration for the Just For One Day global concert stream alongside so many incredible artists coming together to celebrate David Bowie and his legacy.

Tickets are available now on the Rolling Live Studios webpage (link in bio) to join us from anywhere around the world and watch as much as you’d like for 24 hours! $2 from every ticket purchase will be donated to Save The Children, a charity important to Bowie! ⚡”
