On a recent Instagram post, Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale called out all the musicians in the world and wanted everybody to stop making music for one day after the people are protesting George Floyd’s murder.

In the caption of the post, Lzzy explained the purpose of this act and stated that they should be taken attention to equal human rights and be in solidarity for this cause. In this way, she showed his support to the black people and unveiled how musicians could fight against racism.

Here is what Lzzy Hale wrote:

“Artists, Creators and music industry moguls. Tuesday we pause together as an act of solidarity and support for the black community and everyone who is in the fight for equal human rights.

Due to recent events please join us as we take an urgent step of action to provoke accountability and change. As gatekeepers of the culture, it’s our responsibility to not only come together to celebrate the wins but also hold each other up during a loss. Join us on Tuesday, June 2 as a day to disconnect from work and reconnect with our community.”
