During a recent interview with ‘Guitar Bonedo,’ Halestorm guitarist Joe Hottinger and lead singer Lzzy Hale gave some details about the super-exciting project of the band, and they announced that they have recorded a new EP with producer Nick Raskulinecz.
While discussing the new album of the band, Joe Hottinger said that the album is something they had never really done before.
Here’s what Joe Hottinger stated:
“There’ll be more information on that coming up. It’s just getting mixed now, and it sounds awesome. It’s something we’ve never really done before.
Everyone’s expecting a cover EP, but… We’re about to shake it up a little. Technically, it is a cover EP. You’ll find out. It’s cool.”
Lzzy Hale chimed in, and said this:
“It’s nothing like what you think. We can’t really talk about it.”
Earlier in the month, Halestorm bassist Josh Smith hinted at the next project of the band, by saying “there might be covers on it” as well as “something a little different.
Halestorm will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the debut studio album, which is released in 2009, on December 20. the album also was produced by Howard Benson and featured the single ‘I Get Off.’
