On a recent Instagram post, Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale wanted to congratulate the musicians and friends who are nominated for the best metal performance at the Grammy awards and gave a piece of advice to them.
Grammy picked Body Count’s ‘Bum-Rush,’ Code Orange’s ‘Underneath,’ ‘Time In-Between’ song from In This Moment, Poppy’s ‘Bloodmoney,’ and Power Trip’s ‘Executioner’s Tax (Swing Of The Axe)-Live’ songs as the nominees for 2020’s best metal performance.
Recently, Lzzy Hale shared her goodwill with all of those musicians and stated that they should be enjoying these special moments and the milestone that they accomplished. In this way, she also gave her support to them.
Furthermore, Lzzy wanted to mention to Nick Raskulinecz, who is a record producer for many of the well-known bands and said that rock/metal music will be lost without him. While praising his talent, Hale also congratulated Raskulinecz for his nomination with work on Code Orange.
Here is what Lzzy Hale wrote in the caption of her post:
“Congrats to all of my friends in the best metal performance category on their Recording Academy Grammy nominations! Here’s to you Code Orange In This Moment, Poppy, Body Count, Power Trip… And a very special congrats to Nick Raskulinecz on his 20th Grammy nomination in 2020. Rock and metal would be lost without you, Nick!
To all of the nominees… I know how special it is to be nominated not once but twice… And then in turn to win a Grammy in 2012 for best Hard Rock/Metal performance back when that was a category. Some of you have been nominated before and for the rest of you, it’s your first time. Soak it in. Bask in this tremendous milestone.”
She also added:
“I know how hard it is to work on a body of music, put all of your blood and passion into it… Then unleash it to the world. So, from me to you… Just know that you are seen, you are Recognized amongst your peers… And we celebrate you.
Thank you to the metal scene for never conceding in the fight to bring the energy and continue to gift the world with your talent. Love, Rock, and Metal lives!“
