Halestorm frontwoman and also the co-founder of the band with her brother Arejay, Lzzy Hale, has posted a new photo on her verified Instagram page today and unveiled her formula of self-love as well as how she’s dealing with tough times.

As you may already know, Lzzy is one of the musicians who choose to tell different things about life rather than music. This time, Lzzy explained how he’s listing the things she doesn’t like about herself and pretending like she’s the only person left on earth.

While sharing the formula of self-love, Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy did not forget to give credit to the photographer of the frame she has shared and her long-time lover Joe Hottinger. Joe was also one of the users who pushed the like button on the post.

Lzzy also made a reference to the lyrics of one of the most popular songs of Halestorm that was released as the first single of ‘Into The Wild Life’ album back in 2015, ‘Apocalypse.’

Here is what Halestorm frontwoman said:

“Self-love is hard work. To be proud of yourself is hard. There is so much in this life that can make your brain spiral out in a million different directions and make you believe you are unworthy of love or forgiveness. I practice self-love every day. I start by pretending like I’m the only person left on earth.

Then I start counting the things I like about me, both inside and out, the things I can do, the things I like to do or like to wear, etc. Then I list the things I don’t like about myself, and it becomes apparent that MOST of the things that I don’t like about myself are only because it is scoffed on or judged by others or societal norms.'”

She continued:

“When I’m finished, I’m left with a few things that I want to improve upon for ME, as an act of Self Love. Brings a whole new meaning to ‘Baby, Love Me Apocalyptic’ haaa. Love yourself like it’s post-apocalypse… Cuz YOU should be the person you love the most. Xo HAPPY WEDNESDAY!”
