Recent interview made by Globo, Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan spoke about his approach to music at all these days. He said:
“I almost don’t listen to music – only when I’m working in the studio or touring. I’m not quite sure what’s going on with rock today. When I’m not working, I just want to be quiet on my boat, without listening to music.
I’ve heard enough music all my life. In the six months of the year when I’m not working with music, I just want to relax. I do other things, like reading, watching football… I have no interest in listening to rock.”
