Paramore’s founder, frontwoman, songwriter, and keyboardist, Hayley Williams, recently responded to some of her fans’ questions considering her latest album on her Twitter account and said that the cover art of her new album was inspired by her dreams.

Hayley Williams is one of the most prominent figures in the rock scene and although she achieved fame as the frontwoman of the famous rock band Paramore, in the past years, she has shifted to indie music as a genre. She released her highly anticipated debut solo album ‘Petals for Armor‘ on May 8, 2020, and it was a huge success.

The indie-pop album achieved critical acclaim and Hayley was even awarded the ‘Best Alternative‘ MTV EMA award. This success must have motivated Hayley to start working on a second album as she released ‘FLOWERS for VASES / descanos‘ just 8 months later, at midnight on February 5.

The cover art was one of the things that Hayley’s fans appreciated the most and in a recent Instagram post, she had revealed that all the photos for the album were taken in the jacuzzi that she purchased after the COVID-19 outbreak. However, in her recent response to a fan, she also said that she was also inspired by her dreams.

Hayley Williams opened up about the ‘pretty violentdreams that she has been having lately, most of which are related to water and drowning. However, she assured her fans that her mental health is fine and that it’s okay to have violent dreams sometimes. Finally, she concluded by saying that she’s happy her ‘stupid quarantine hot tub’ came in handy.

Here’s what a fan asked:

“What was the inspiration behind the cover art? Lindsey Byrnes did an amazing job of capturing the essence of the album in my opinion! ‘Flowers For Vases'”

To which Hayley Williams responded:

“I dream about water a lot; drowning and just generally pretty violent stuff (please don’t feel bad for me I’m fine). I dreamt about it just last night! I think the cover does a good job of serving you ‘DRAMA’ but it’s actually just my stupid quarantine hot tub lol.”
