The lead vocalist and keyboardist of Paramore, Hayley Williams, has posted a couple of new photos on her official Instagram account today and remembered the devastating disaster that happened in Nashville a year ago.

As you might remember, on March 2 and 3, West and Middle Tennessee have been hit by a deadly tornado and the outbreak has last almost 35 hours. According to the Storm Prediction Center, the tornado’s highest wind was 175 mph and according to the authorities, there were 25 fatalities and 309 injuries in Nashville and Mount Juliet.

A year after, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams did not forget the disaster and took her verified Instagram page to remind people to be cautious and always stay ready for such a natural disaster.

In her post, she did not forget to mention ‘Hands On Nashville’ which is Middle Tennessee’s volunteer resource program that aims to bring hope and help to the homeless and hurting people in the area.

Here is the meaningful message of Hayley:

“It’s been 1 year but the tornado was so many disaster scenarios ago for Nashville. I do think we are learning to be better helpers/activists/advocates/etc because of what this past year dealt us. That would be the only silver lining.

That in its wake we become a more engaged and more empathetic community. Extra love to ‘Hands-On Nashville’ for leading tornado relief volunteer missions a year ago and showing us how to serve our city more effectively. Love yall. Thankful for sunshine today.”
