Metallica performed their legendary song “Orion” and honored Cliff Burton’s birthday during the band’s February 10 concert in at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy.

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has shared a tweet after the Turin show:

“Threw in Orion tonight for Cliff.. the first time in almost a year. A very special moment. Thank you Turin for your generosity and warm vibes. ?? #wanna #metinturin #cliffburton”

As you know, Cliff Burton honored with a “Cliff Burton Day” on February 10 in Castro Valley, California. The honour came after a petition pushed to recognise Burton’s birthday in his hometown.
