The official Instagram account dedicated to Michael Jackson posted a photo of Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson from his famous song ‘Jam‘s video clip and revealed details of how Jordan actually decided to be in the video.

As you know, the King of Pop sadly passed away on June 25, 2009, at the age of 50 caused by a cardiac arrest. Millions of people mourned after the tragic death of a legend.

Michael Jackson released his eighth studio album ‘Dangerous‘ in 1991. The famous song ‘Jam‘ was the fourth single from ‘Dangerous.’ The music video of the song produced by the short film producer Phil Rose and featured NBA legend, Michael Jordon.

Recently on Instagram, the official account dedicated to Michael Jackson posted a photo from the shooting of ‘Jam’s music clip. As you will see in the photo below, the legendary basketball player Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson were playing basketball as a part of the scene.

On the caption of the post, they revealed the story behind Jordan’s decision to be a part of the iconic video clip. Apparently, in the beginning, Michael Jordan was worried that Jackson might make him dance which would be ‘really embarrassing‘ for him. However, later Jordan changed his mind and decided to play in the clip because he thought it would be a great opportunity to get to know Michael Jackson in real life and also be a part of the legendary musician’s work.

“‘First I said, ‘I don’t know if I want to do this, because this guy’s going to try to get me out there to dance, and that’s going to be really embarrassing.’ But then I said: ‘Well, shoot, it’s Michael Jackson. When would you ever get an opportunity to get to know him socially for a little bit, and yet at the same time, get to do his video?’ So, I changed my mind and went on and did it.’
