Legendary vocalist Alice Cooper has shared a new post on his official Instagram account and mourned the iconic baseball player, Al Kaline, who passed away two days ago at the age of 85.

Alice mentioned Al Kaline’s importance to his life and stated that he was a hero for him. Also, Alice revealed how devastating to learn about Al Kaline’s death and paid his tribute by praising Al Kaline.

As of writing this, Alice’s post got around 7K likes, and the fans headed to the comment section to show their support to Alice Cooper.

“I was a kid in Detroit in the 50’s, and Al Kaline was my Mickey Mantle. He was my hero. He was the absolute pride of Detroit.

I’m not sentimental about much, including my own memorabilia, but I do have a small sports memorabilia collection, it is all Al Kaline.”
