According to the Sunday Express, Queen frontman Freddie Mercury’s biopic Bohemian Rhapsody made almost $900 million (£690 million) on boxscore worldwide.

Freddie Mercury left his 1/4 share of recording royalties on the last two Queen albums to his bandmates. He left his mansion, its contents and %50 his recordings to his girlfriend Mary Austin.

And the all the remaining %50 of movie (from Bohemian Rhapsody’s £690 million earning) and recording royalties goes to Freddie’s parents and sister, Kashmira. It means that Freddie’s sister Kashmira’s share of the band’s proceeds should be at least £20 million.

The Queen legend Freddie Mercury‘s sister Kashmira was recently interviewed by The Times, and she revealed what she thinks about his brother’s biopic Bohemian Rhapsody:

“I was happy to find out they were going to make the movie. And, although it was very emotional for me, I thought it was tastefully done.”

Kashmira also shared her opinion about Rami Malek and said:

“I got to spend a lot of time with Kash — I call her Kash, which is a phenomenal thing I never thought I’d be doing in my life — and just being able to talk to her and hold her hand and give her a hug and have tea with her is such a gift.

And to have had this experience and to feel some kinship with Freddie Mercury and to hear stories about him through his sister, it means everything to me.”
