As you will remember from our recently published article that Mötley Crüe’s legendary drummer Tommy Lee made a recent interview and revealed that they have no intention to cancel their upcoming tour with Def Leppard.
While the whole members of the tour are getting prepared for the shows, every single person is talking about the other possibility: What if Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard would have to cancel the tour? How much money they will lose et the end?
By the time Tommy claims that they are not going to cancel the shows, Mötley Crüe manager made a new statement and revealed that both Crüe and Def Leppard will lose millions of dollars if they will decide not to do The Stadium Tour.
According to the earlier article which was written by 94.1 KRNA Classic Rock, Mötley Crüe would earn $2 Million, Def Leppard would get 1$ Million and Poison will get $250.000 dollars per show.
It means that Crüe and Def Leppard members will lose approximately 120 million dollars if the tour gets canceled. Here is the official statement:
“You start calculating the grosses for 50,000 people a night, it’s a lot of money. In the millions. The acts can get somewhere between 50 and 60 percent of the gross.”
